Continuing with our theme of in person events, we will be hosting a watch party for the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby.

I'm the Founder of The Collaborative, which is focused on connecting the sports and entertainment industry with aspiring Journalists and PR Professionals via virtual and in person fireside chats. Since 2020, we have had 55+ guests including ESPN’s Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark and Laura Rutledge to NO Saints DE, Cameron Jordan. We have also partnered with the NFL, NBA, OTE and Atlanta Braves to host in person career events.

Sydnee WSydnee Walker is the Founder and CEO of The Collaborative LLC, a company focused on
connecting seasoned professionals in the Sports and Entertainment Industry with aspiring
Journalists and PR Professionals via virtual and in-person fireside chats. Walker has secured 55+ elite guests for the show including: NBC Sportscaster, Maria Taylor, ESPN’s Marcus Spears
(NFL Analyst), Ryan Clark (Super Bowl Champion) and Laura Rutledge (Sideline Reporter and Host, NFL Live), New Orleans Saints DE, Cameron Jordan and MLB Hall of Famer, John Smoltz. In addition she has partnered with the NBA, NFL, OTE, Atlanta Braves and more to host in person career days.
Walker previously worked at Turner Sports in the Marketing and PR department across Turner’s MLB, NBA, NHL and NCAA properties. She is not only passionate about defining and articulating stories for brands, but also developing and implementing strategic plans which
companies can utilize to tell stories and maximize their reach.
Walker graduated from the University of Oregon in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations. During her time at UO, Walker was selected as the School of Journalism and Communication’s Student Commencement Speaker. She is a former member of theWomen’s Track and Field Program, finishing #7 All-Time in the Weight Throw and earning PAC-12 All-Academic Team honors.
