The NUVEAUX Block Party is a vibrant community celebration hosted by NUVEAUX WRLD, a Black-owned Toronto brand. Scheduled for July 18th, the event centers around a high-energy 5-on-5 basketball tournament with a $500 prize, designed to bring together local basketball enthusiasts and foster community spirit. Beyond the tournament, the block party will feature DJs, giveaways, local vendors, and a lively atmosphere that celebrates culture, connection, and urban lifestyle. It’s meant to be an annual event that grows bigger each year, offering sponsors a unique chance to engage directly with a passionate and diverse Toronto audience.

My name is Nurat, you can call me Nunu, and I’m the founder of NUVEAUX WRLD, a Black-owned lifestyle and streetwear brand based right here in Toronto. I’m passionate about building community through culture, creativity, and shared experiences — which is why I’m organizing the NUVEAUX Block Party this July.

 

This block party is my way of creating a vibrant, inclusive space where people can come together around basketball, music, and local culture. I’m committed to making this event meaningful, impactful, and something that grows year after year.
